Popup Travel was founded in Sydney in 2019 by Keith Cowarn following more than 40 years working across travel, tourism, accommodation, technology and distribution.

The idea came from something simple: travellers want reliable choices, but they still want travel to feel exciting.

Popup brings those two things together- confidence before you arrive and a city worth discovering when you get there.

We use short-term rental accommodation operated by professional property managers.

That means a real home or apartment, backed by an identifiable accommodation business responsible for the property and the guest experience.

It is a more dependable way to enjoy the space, flexibility and local feel of a short-term rental.

Behind Popup Travel is extensive industry experience in travel technology, distribution, partnerships, demand generation and business development.

Keith continues to advise selected travel and hospitality businesses through Popup Travel. This work supports the industry knowledge and relationships behind the traveller platform, but the experience starts with the traveller.
